Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Meet & Greet at the arrival hall by our representative and transfer to the hotel which is located in the hearth of Thamel, the tourist area of Kathmandu with many shops, bars, restaurants and spa’s. The rest of the day can be spent as free time. Included: Airport transfer, overnight in Yatri Suites and Spa.

Day 2Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

The best way to get to know fascinating Kathmandu is to explore it by guided sightseeing tour. This tour will bring you to Kathmandu’s must sees including, Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the old kings square with many old temples, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudha stupa which is the largest stupa in the world and Pashupatinath temple, the most sacred temple of Kathmandu where you can experience a traditional Nepalese cremation ceremony. You will be back in the hotel in the late afternoon where you can wander around Thamel (the tourist area of Kathmandu) to have a nice diner and drinks. Day 3Kathmandu via Bhaktapur to Dhulikhel

Your tour will continue in the morning after your breakfast. You will drive to the city of Bhaktapur where you will have a morning sightseeing program. Bhaktapur is one of the 3 king cities of Kathmandu valley and here you can find many old temples, small alleys with old architecture and little shops selling local handicraft products. You can have lunch on your own in Bhaktapur. After lunch you continue your route to Namo Buddha which is a very serene monastery and temple in the green mountains of Kathmandu valley. The views are amazing and you can observe the lifestyle of the monks that live here. After the you will continue your trip to the Namo Buddha resort, a very relaxing and quiet place to enjoy the rest of the day. Day 4Dhulikhel resort to Chitwan

Driving distance: 160km – driving duration: 6/7 hours
After breakfast, you travel overland from Kathmandu valley to Royal Chitwan National Park. After lunch you will be headed for a Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. In the evening, you will attend a Tharu cultural dance show (which you can also participate in) by the local villagers. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Diner, afternoon guided sightseeing tour, evening program, private travelinfo2go transfer to Chitwan, entry fees, overnight in Adventure Safari Lodge or Rainforest resort.

Day 5Chitwan Jungle safari

After breakfast, you will go on a Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. The Canoe ride will be followed by a Jungle walk where your guide will take you into the jungle to search for wild animals. In the afternoon you will take a jeep tour through the Jungle of Chitwan. Another amazing change to spot wildlife. Included: Breakfast, lunch, diner, full day guided sightseeing program, entry fees, Overnight in Adventure Safari Lodge or Rainforest resort.

Day 6Chitwan to Lumbini

Driving distance: 150km – driving duration: 4/5 hours
In the morning, after your breakfast the you will move from Chitwan to Lumbini which is a 4/5-hour drive through the terai region of Nepal. You are sure to enjoy the views of the lush rolling green hills, beautiful valleys and mountain views along the way. Lumbini is known as the birth place of Buddha and a world-famous pilgrimage site with many temples, culture and religion. Lumbini is listed as a UNESCO world heritage side and known as one of the most famous pilgrimage sides in Asia. Many countries around the world have their own temples in this area. Tonight, you will get the unique opportunity to stay in a guest house inside a monastery. Day 7Lumbini to Pokhara

In the early morning you will move from Lumbini to Pokhara. Once you have arrived in Pokhara, you will have free time in the afternoon to explore the lake side (tourist area) of Pokhara with the amazing views over Lake Fewa. Here you will find many nice restaurants, bars and shops that will entertain you the rest of the day and evening. The lake side is an amazing place to enjoy a drink in the evening and stroll around for souvenir shopping. Day 8Sightseeing in Pokhara

Today you will rise early as today you will head to Sarangkot (30-minute drive) to capture a tranquil and spectacular view over the city before sunrise and view the first rays of sunlight hitting the mountains in the background. Sarangkot offers panoramic views of Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and other mountains. After returning in the hotel, breakfast is waiting for you. In the early afternoon, you will start your sightseeing tour to visit the sights of Pokhara including, International Mountain Museum, Devis Falls, Gupteshwor cave and Seti river gorge. In the late afternoon just before sunset, you will visit the World Peace Pagoda, situated at the Phewa Lake, with an amazing view over Pokhara. Included: Breakfast, full-day guided sightseeing tour, entry fees, overnight in hotel Kuti resort.

Day 9Pokhara to Kathmandu via Bandipur

Driving distance: 240km – Driving duration: 8 hours
On day 10 your driver will take you back to Kathmandu which is a journey of approximately six to seven hours. After 3,5 hours driving, we will make a stop of around 1 hour to explore the city of Bandipur which is a beautiful old town. Here you can have a good lunch and enjoy the scenery. After lunch we continue to Kathmandu. You will be transferred back to your hotel to relax. Included: Breakfast, private Travelinfo2go transfer to Kathmandu and overnight in Yatri Suites & Spa.

Day 10Departure day

Approximately 3 hours before departure of your flight, you will be transferred to Kathmandu international airport where we guide you to the check-in hall. From here we hope you had an amazing journey through our country, Nepal. And we hope to see you again. Included: Breakfast, private airport transfer.
