This journey through the land of legends of Maharajas & Maharanis and elusive Royal Bengal Tiger takes you through the north western Indian princely state of Rajasthan (the land of Kings) famous for its majestic fort – magnificent palaces – historic havelies built by The Great Maharajas of Rajasthan, big fairs and festivals, tribal life, temples, The great Thar Desert and Ranthambore National Park that used to be hunting ground for royal family of Jaipur.

The cities of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur are a colorful display of pink, blue and green, offering a delightful scattering of color in an otherwise desert landscape.

You will end the journey by visiting one of the world’s architectural master piece – The Taj Mahal.

Day 1Delhi

Arrive Delhi and meet your representative at airport.

Day 2Delhi

Breakfast at hotel.
Your first day of tour beings with the exploration of Delhi as you drive past the Red Fort en route to the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India where you will see locals engaged in daily prayers. Enjoy an exciting rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of one of the oldest and busiest market of Delhi – the Chandni Chowk bazar, frequented by locals and visitors alike. After lunch at a local restaurant in Old Delhi, continue your exploration with visit to New Delhi where you will visit an architectural precursor of the Taj Mahal – Humayun’s Tomb. Drive pass through Government buildings, India Gate, Rajpath and president’s house of Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Day 3Delhi/Jodhpur

Delhi / Jodhpur (by flight – approx. 1 hr 40 min)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning transfer to airport to connect flight to Jodhpur.
Arrive Jodhpur and transfer to hotel (check-in time 14h00).
Spend afternoon in exploring Jodhpur city by first visiting Maharangarh Fort which stands atop a rocky cliff 400 feet above the city. Entry to the fort through its huge fortified gateways takes you to the museums and palaces. After visit the fort, visit to Janwant Thada which is a marble cenotaphs of royal family of Jodhpur.

Return back to the hotel.

Day 4Johhpur

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning excursion to a tribal village of Bishnoi community known for its history and customs.
Return back to hotel.
Rest of the day free at hotel to relax yourself and avail facilities like spa provided by hotel (on direct payment basis).

Day 5Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur

Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur (by road – approx. 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive through the Aravalli Hills which are considered to be one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. This drive will take you through small villages along the road and you will be able to see villagers working on their fields in colorful dresses. Enroute stop in Ranakpur for lunch followed by visit.
Ranakpur is one of the important and sacred sites for Jain religion followers. Here you will visit 15th century temple carved out of marble, it has more than 1400 marble pillars and intricately carved interior domes.
Continue to Udaipur and check-in at hotel.

Day 6Udaipur

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning visit City Palace Complex by first visiting City Palace, known for its architecture, mosaic, mirror and miniature painting work. Inside the Palace you will also see a massive collection of paintings and further continue the visit to Crystal Gallery which has massive collection of crystal objects. Finally stroll through extensive lawns of Sahelion Ki Bari (garden of the Maids of Honor).
Visit painting school which patronage skillful work of miniature paintings, you can also buy souvenirs for yourself, family and friends
Rest of the day free to relax in the hotel.
In the evening, enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola and stop at Jag Mandir island famous for its marble pillars, fountains and domes.

Day 7Udaipur

After breakfast at hotel, take a short excursion to temple complex of Nagda and Eklingi to explore its more than 100 temples dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu.
Return back to hotel.
Afternoon soft hike tour in village close to Udaipur city.

Day 8Udaipur / Jaipur

Udaipur / Jaipur (flight – approx 1hr duration)
After early breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to connect flight to Jaipur.
Transfer to airport to connect flight to Jaipur.
Check-in time at hotel is 14h00.
In afternoon visit Pink City of Jaipur by visiting City Palace and 18th century astronomical observation site, the Jantar Mantar.
Return back to hotel.

Day 9Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel.
Drive to Amber Fort with enroute photostop at Hawa Mahal which is perhaps Jaipur’s most famous building.
Amber Fort is one of the finest examples of a fort place.
Lunch at Samode Haveli which is resident of rules of Samode but now converted into a hotel.
Rest of the day free to relax at hotel or free for independent activities.

Day 10Jaipur / Ranthambore

Jaipur / Ranthambore (by road – approx. 4 hrs drive)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning drive to Ranthambore National Park which was once the royal Maharaja’s hunting grounds. Today this national park has abundant wildlife and protected tigers.
Lunch on arrival at hotel.
Afternoon first game drive in shared jeep.
Return back to hotel.

Early morning and afternoon game drive through Ranthamore National Park.

Ranthambore / Bharaptur by train + Bharatpur / Agra (by road – approx. 2hrs drive)

Transfer to railway station to connect train to Bharatpur (07h05 / 09h23). Arrive Bharatpur and drive to Agra with enroute stop at UNESCO World Heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri to visit this ghost town.
Continue to Agra, once a Mughal capital.
Rest of the day free.

Morning visit Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) which is perfect example of symmetry and propositions. Continue visit to Agra Fort.
